Coal plant closings and the resulting shift towards Net Zero 2050 carbon mandates in the cement industry requires new thinking on the role of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) in next generation cement products. 

SonoAsh believes that the global climate focus underwrites a new industry structure.  

Changes are converging to usher in the business of producing engineered, low-carbon fly ash SCMs extracted from impoundments at coal fired power stations acknowledging increased dependency of the cement industry on coal ash.

SonoAsh employs a unique, patent-protected, process in the beneficiation of coal ash – sonication.  Sonication is the application of low frequency, high energy transmission of mechanical energy through shear vibration.
